The boxes do smell like glue and are tacky but it shouldn't take a genius to know why. The boxes are so beautiful, perfect to display and have such attention to detail i haven't seen anywhere else. The one thing I wish is that the strawberry snowflake lip oil and conditioner was pink to match the design like the blue and cream, it just feels like it should have a baby pink lid and tube. Overall im extremely happy with my purchase and I genuinely love them SO much.
